Origin: Spain

Extraction: Olive Oil, processed without the use of solvents

Colour / Appearance: Clear, colourless

Aroma: Odourless 

Shelf Life: Stable oil with 24 -36 month shelf life.  Can add stability to base formulas by extending other fragile or long chain oils

Solubility: Mixes well with most other oils, essential oils and lipophilic ingredients.  Not soluble in water.

Squalane, derived from olive oil is an exquisite, light emollient ingredient which closely mimics the chemistry of natural sebum in our skin. A simple yet luxurious addition to any fine skincare or hair care formulation which does not leave a greasy residue. This attribute also allows the oil to penetrate skin and hair strands easily, providing smooth soft results. Can add radiance and shine to hair.   Gentle on sensitive skin and will not clog pores (non comedogenic).

Best Applications: Premium facial oils / serums, luxury facial care, leave-in hair treatments. 

Use: 1 -10% in formulations
