Colour: Pale, slightly greenish yellow, and darkens with age

Aroma: Spicy, sharp, refreshing like lemon and pepper

Noted Constituents

Sesquiterpenes (50-90%)- zingiberene (20-42%), B-farnesene (17-20%), bisabolene (5-7%)

Monoterpenes (4-22%)- camphene (8%), limonene, pinene, B-phelladrene

Alcohols (9-20%)- citronellol (5-6%), linalool (1-5%), borneol (1-2%)

May irritate the skin. Do not use on the skin full strength. Always dilute in appropriate carriers before use.  Not for internal use. If pregnant or suffering from serious medical conditions, consult a qualified health professional, experienced in the use of essential oils.

Useful Information

Heavy presence of sesquiterpenes translates to long shelf life. This oil may improve over time however the aroma will change from a sharp fresh cut ginger aroma to a heavier exotic persistent aroma. When initially blended, the aroma may not be apparent but will emerge as blend’s synergy occurs.
