Cetyl Alcohol NF A fatty alcohol extracted from palm oil. Used as emulsifier, stabilizer, enhancer, emollient, water volumizer. Provides excellent texture, glide and viscosity to creams and lotions. Also a great softener of the skin. Mildly acidic. Can be in white pellets or granular flakes.
For cream production, add 1-2% to oil phase, melt completely and mix with other ingredients
